DRIVING DIRECTIONS to Commodore Events in Alameda

FROM SAN FRANCISCO

Take the Bay Bridge and exit to the right following the sign, 880/Alameda/San Jose. Go 2.5 miles and exit Broadway/Alameda. Turn right on Fifth St., go through six lights and from the left two lanes, cross Broadway and follow the Alameda sign into the Webster tube to Alameda. After exiting the Webster tube, take the first right coming out of the tube (it is now Wilver “Willie” Stargell Avenue), the turn right on to Mariner Square Loop, and then a left on to Mariner Square Dr.

FROM FREMONT & SAN JOSE

Take 880 North. Exit Broadway in Oakland. Turn right on Broadway, go two blocks and turn right on Seventh. Go two blocks and turn right on Webster. Follow the sign to Alameda. After exiting the Webster tube, take the first right coming out of the tube (it is now Wilver “Willie” Stargell Avenue), then turn right on to Mariner Square Loop, and then a left on to Mariner Square Dr.

FFROM BERKELEY & VALLEJO AREAS

From I-80, as you approach the Bay Bridge, follow the center lanes and the sign to Alameda/San Jose. Go three miles and exit Broadway/Alameda. Turn right on Fifth St. Go through six lights and from the left two lanes, cross Broadway and follow the Alameda sign into the Webster tube. After exiting the Webster tube, take the first right coming out of the tube (it is now Wilver “Willie” Stargell Avenue), then turn right on to Mariner Square Loop, and then a left on to Mariner Square Dr.

FROM WALNUT CREEK

Take 24 to west I-980. Exit 11th/12th street. This becomes Brush. Turn left on Seventh St. At the sixth stop light, turn right on Webster. Continue on Webster and follow the sign to Alameda. After exiting the Webster tube, take the first right coming out of the tube (it is now Wilver “Willie” Stargell Avenue), the turn right on to Mariner Square Loop, and then a left on to Mariner Square Dr.

PARKING

Our parking is complimentary. However, the foot of Mariner Square has limited parking that is reserved for the two restaurants there. You may park on both sides of Mariner Square Drive and there is reserved yacht guest parking in the spaces in front of and behind the Mariner Square Office complex at the head of Mariner Square Drive. It is a short walk to the yachts at the foot of Mariner Square Drive. Of course, you may drop your passengers at the foot of the drive; we offer handicapped accessibility.

TOUR MOTOR COACHES

You may offload your passengers at the foot of Mariner Square Drive. Afterwards, you may drive back to the stop sign, turn left, and discover ample parking while you wait in the Marina Village Shopping Center.

GOING HOME

Proceed up Mariner Square Dr. to the stop sign. Go straight, one long block and turn right onto the street that carries you into the Posey Tube. Be in the right hand lane, exiting, and follow signs toward San Francisco to I-80 East or West or 24 toward Walnut Creek. For I-880 South, follow the sign to San Jose.

DIRECTIONS TO PIER 40, SOUTH BEACH HARBOR, S.F.
(One-half mile south of the Ferry Building next to AT&T Park & NOT next to Pier 39)

FROM THE NORTH BAY FROM THE SOUTH BAY via Hwy 101

Hwy 101 over Golden Gate Bridge Hwy 101 North
Follow signs to Lombard Street Take 4th Street exit (last SF exit)
Follow Lombard to Van Ness, turn left To Bryant and go straight through to the water
Turn right onto Bay Street and go to the end Turn right on Embarcadero
Turn right on Embarcadero Go to Pier 40*
Go 1 3/4 miles to Pier 40*

FROM THE EAST BAY FROM THE SOUTH BAY via Hwy 280

Hwy 80 across the Bay Bridge Hwy 280 North
Take the Fifth St. exit Follow to the end
Turn left on Fifth Street Take 4th Street exit and continue straight onto Turn left on Townsend
Right on Second St. King Street. Follow King to Embarcadero
Left on the Embarcadero to Pier 40* Go to Pier 40*
* You will see the Pier 40 sign written on the pier itself, and the Java House just north of the pier. There is an open-air parking lot between Brannan & Bryant (for $9) before you reach the Pier 40 entrance, as well as metered parking along Embarcadero.

PIER 40 SOUTH BEACH HARBOR PARKING

METERED PARKING LOT - Limited public parking is available around this location (25¢ per half hour). Due to the proximity to AT&T Park, these on-street parking spaces will be more difficult to park in
during the baseball season.

BRYANT ST. & EMBARCADERO PARKING LOT - Corner of Bryant St. and Embarcadero. This parking lot has 545 spaces, is open 24 hours a day with an attendant on site until 6:00 p.m. unless there is a game. Then there is an attendant until 11:00 p.m. They charge a flat rate of $8.00 per car unless a game or other event is happening. They then charge $15.00 per car.

175 TOWNSEND ST. PARKING LOT - They charge a $6.00 flat rate per car but are only open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (except for night baseball games).

178 TOWNSEND ST. PARKING LOT - This garage is only open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. excluding baseball games.

STANFORD & 2nd PARKING LOT - 680 Stanford St and 635 2nd St. These two lots are run by the same company and are only open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. except for night baseball games. Please make sure to give yourself plenty of time to find parking if you have not arranged motor coach transportation.
